Scaffolding work is one of the leading causes of construction injuries and fatalities. According to OSHA, falls from scaffolds account for nearly 4,500 injuries and dozens of deaths each year, often due to improper assembly, lack of inspection, or unsafe work practices.

The Scaffolding Competent Person Course prepares supervisors, safety personnel, and workers to safely inspect, erect, and manage scaffolding systems in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

Participants will learn essential topics including scaffold hazard recognition, proper assembly and dismantling procedures, load capacities, fall protection requirements, and how to conduct thorough scaffold inspections. The course emphasizes hands-on skills and real-world scenarios to ensure safe work at heights.
